About us
A care company built around how people actually live
Sora Luxe Healthcare provides care at home and temporary healthcare staffing across Northamptonshire, from our base in Corby.

Who we are
Sora Luxe Healthcare
Sora Luxe Healthcare is the trading name of Sora Luxe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16487908. Based in Northamptonshire, we provide person-centred domiciliary care alongside temporary staffing support for health and social care providers.
Our approach is shaped by professional nursing experience, a strong understanding of care delivery and a commitment to providing support that is safe, respectful and centred around the individual.
We would rather say no to work we cannot do properly than take it on and manage it badly. That principle shapes how we talk to families, professionals and the providers we work with.
Leadership
Clinical experience. Compassionate leadership.
Dulsie Ivy Donkor
Registered NurseRegistered Manager
Dulsie Ivy Donkor is a Registered Nurse and experienced care professional whose career spans hospital, residential and wider care settings. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of both the clinical and practical aspects of delivering safe, person-centred support.
Her professional background includes working as a Staff Nurse at Northampton General Hospital, nursing within residential care, and supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Throughout her nursing career, Dulsie has developed extensive experience in assessment and care planning, risk management, medication support, safeguarding, resource planning and the supervision and guidance of support workers. She has also worked closely with individuals, families and other healthcare professionals to help ensure care is well coordinated and responsive to individual needs.
Dulsie's experience and leadership help shape Sora Luxe Healthcare's approach to care — combining professional oversight with compassion, clear communication and a commitment to treating every person with dignity and respect, while supporting their choices and independence.
What LUXE means to us
More than our name.
LUXE is more than our name. It reflects the principles we want people to experience in the care and support we provide — Love, Unity, eXcellence and Empowerment.
These principles shape how we work with the people we support, their families, our colleagues and other professionals. They remind us that good care is not only about meeting needs; it is also about how people are treated, listened to and supported to live their lives with dignity, choice and independence.
Love
Care begins with compassion. Love means approaching people with kindness, patience and genuine concern for their wellbeing, while recognising the dignity and individuality of every person we support.
Unity
Good care works best when people work together. Unity means building positive relationships with the people we support, their families, our colleagues and other professionals so that care is coordinated, respectful and centred around the individual.
eXcellence
We believe people should be able to expect high standards from the care and support they receive. eXcellence means taking pride in how care is planned and delivered, learning from experience and continually looking for ways to strengthen the quality of our service.
Empowerment
Good care should support independence, not unnecessarily take it away. Empowerment means listening to people's choices, involving them in decisions and supporting them to remain as independent and in control of their lives as possible.
Our approach
Care should feel personal — and be well organised
Care should feel personal, but it should also be well organised, thoughtfully planned and delivered with clear professional accountability. That combination — warmth alongside structure — is what we build every arrangement around.
Before support starts, we take time to understand:
- What matters to the person, in their own words
- What they can and want to keep doing independently
- Where support is genuinely needed
- How they prefer that support to be provided
- How families and professionals should be involved, where appropriate
- How support should be reviewed as needs change
Our organisational practice draws on experience of assessment, care planning, risk awareness, safeguarding, medication support, staff supervision and working alongside families and other professionals. That is how the service is run and overseen; it does not mean every member of our team holds a nursing qualification.
Good care recognises the whole person — not just the tasks on a visit sheet.
Person-centred care
What person-centred care means to us
Six practical commitments that shape how support is planned and delivered.
Dignity
People should be treated with respect in their own home — privacy protected, and support given quietly and considerately.
Choice
Individuals should be involved in decisions about their support, including how and when it is provided.
Independence
Support should encourage people to keep doing what they can for themselves rather than unnecessarily taking over.
Consistency
We aim for familiar faces where possible, and we are straightforward that continuity cannot be guaranteed.
Communication
Clear communication with the person and, where appropriate, their family or the professionals involved.
Safety
Support is planned with individual needs, known risks and the arrangements agreed with the person in mind.
Safety and quality
Professional oversight behind every visit
Careful, everyday process is what makes personal care dependable.
Recruitment and vetting
Identity, Right to Work, DBS, employment history and references are checked and recorded before anyone starts.
Induction and training
New team members complete an induction covering our expectations, policies and the practicalities of the role.
Supervision and support
Staff are supervised and guided, with time to raise questions and reflect on the support they provide.
Safeguarding
Concerns are recognised, recorded and escalated appropriately — we would always rather hear something early.
Care planning and risk
Written plans set out what has been agreed, who is involved and the risks that need managing.
Records and review
Accurate notes, clear handovers and reviews of support as needs and circumstances change.
Our people
Care is only as good as the people delivering it
Leadership sets the standard, but the day-to-day experience of care comes down to the person at the door. The principles behind LUXE also influence what we look for in the people who represent Sora Luxe Healthcare. We recruit for values first and look for:
- Compassion, and genuine patience with people
- Respect for someone's home, routines and beliefs
- Reliability — arriving when agreed and communicating early if something changes
- Professionalism and sound judgement
- Clear, honest communication
- A willingness to learn and be guided
- An understanding of what person-centred support really means
We work to keep familiar faces involved wherever rotas and availability allow, and we will not promise the same carer at every visit.

Our values
What we hold ourselves to
These are the standards we recruit against and review against.
Dignity
Support is delivered in a way that protects privacy and self-respect at every visit.
Choice
People decide how their support is provided, and can change their mind.
Independence
We support what someone can do themselves rather than taking over.
Safety
Risks are discussed openly and recorded, with practical steps agreed together.
Respect
We treat homes, belongings, routines and beliefs with genuine care.
Consistency
Clear plans and good handovers so support does not change shape week to week.
Why families and providers choose us
